Amit Dolawat is Rashmi Desai's saviour

Looks like Amit Dolawat is destined to be Rashmi Desai’s saviour. In the past, when Rashmi was to perform in a Bhojpuri Award night, Amit replaced her partner at the last minute. At that time, Amit was given an hour to practice the dance steps, before performing on stage. And something similar happened recently. Incidentally, Rashmi was to participate in Imagine’s Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan, along with her husband Nandish Sandhu aka Veer of Uttaran. She was to perform on the song Madhubala from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan but unfortunately Nandish fell ill on day of the shoot. So, another actor was called in to replace Nandish. And that happened to be Amit Dolawat. A source tells us, “Rashmi was very upset and tense about Nandish not being able to make it on the show; that’s when the production house roped in Amit.” Amit practised the steps for an entire day and gave a splendid performance in front of Saroj Khan. Not only this, Amit’s efforts paid off when Saroj Khan commended Amit’s performance. “Your foot work is really smooth and it’s not an easy job to perform magnificently in a day’s time,” is how Saroj praised Amit.
