Ankit Gupta talks about his workout regime and shares his diet plan - Exclusive

Ankit Gupta is one of the most loved and celebrated actors on television and he has a massive fan following. TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him about his work out regime and much more.

MUMBAI: Ankit Gupta is a well - known actor of television and he has a massive fan following.

The actor rose to fame with his performance as Fateh in the serial Udaariyaan.

His pair with his co - actor Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is loved by the audience and they consider them as one of the most loved iconic pairs of television.

Post that he was last seen in the show Junooniyatt where he essayed the role of Jahaan Mehta which also became very popular and famous.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Ankit and spoke about his workout regime and how he balances between work and being fit.

If you had to choose between your gym time and going on a date with someone what would you do?

Never happens like that leaving any other girl but even if Priyanka also tells him that today they should skip Gym he wouldn't agree for it and would tell her that he would go to the gym.

Has it ever happened to you that while gyming people have stared at you and you felt uncomfortable and left from there?

It doesn't happen as if you see me in the Gym. I am a very different person, I wear a cap, got my headphones and even if someone wants to talk to me they would get avoided. I don't see anyone because I know if I make eye  contact then I would have to talk.

How to balance your work and also concentrate on your gym work?

If I am working and have a shift of 9pm then I wake up at 5 : 00 am and then 6 : 00 am I am in the gym and then I work out for 1 1/2 hours then come back home and freshn up and then leave by 8 : 30 pm and by 9 : 00 Am I am on the sets of the show and then I shoot and 9pm I am back home. I follow intermediate fasting so I have my first meal at 2 : 00 Am which is Chicken, Rice and Dal which is my staple diet and I have the same meal for lunch and dinner. Morning coffee before workout nothing till 2 : 00 pm and then lunch  I have chicken, dal, and some veggies and in the evening some protein I have and dinner Chicken, rice and dal.
