MUMBAI: Anupamaa is one of the most loved shows on Star Plus.
The show featured Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna in the leading roles and the audience were in love with their characters, Anupamaa and Anuj Kapadia. Infact, they fondly shipped their names together as #Maan. The show has undergone a major storyline change, marked by a 15-year leap that brings new faces and shifts in its central relationships. Characters like Adhya, who is now an adult and is portrayed by Alisha Parveen, and her love interest Prem, who is played by Shivam Khajuria, have brought the plot into the modern period. Anupamaa and her family have been dealing with emotional reunions and challenges over the past six months.
Anupamaa, played by Rupali Ganguly, has transformed Anu Ki Rasoi from a food stall into a full-fledged restaurant in this post-leap universe. Despite this, she seems to be aloof from her daughter Adhya. Adhya, a tour guide now, shows signs of a complex familial dynamic by emotionally separating herself from her mother. This leap's emphasis on these generational changes has enthralled the audience and introduced new levels of drama and relationships.
While the show is witnessing some high voltage drama, Anupamaa’s new look is something which has attracted a lot of attention. The current drama showcases that Anupamaa has got a letter from Anuj and she is overwhelmed. With this, TellyChakkar hosted a poll for an audience verdict whether they want to see Anupamaa lead a solo independent life and move on or they still miss the #Maan romance?
According to the results, 22 percent of the people feel that Anupamaa should not reunite and she should leave an independent life while 78 percent of the audience thinks that #Maan should reunite.
