MUMBAI:  Anupamaa is one such show which has been on the top ever since it began. It has been winning hearts over and over again. The storyline has always succeeded to keep the audience hooked.

Ever since Anuj and Anupama got married, there has been a lot of drama in the show. The two are restricted by their respective family responsibilities. Problems just don't seem to end for Anupama and Anuj. She is constantly juggling between the Kapadia and the Shah family.

The show Anupamaa has shown us many faces which were either lost somewhere or faces which were seen in many serials before but recognised over here. 1.Rupali Ganguly

Rupali ganguly has become the face of an ideal mother, thanks to her role of Anupama. Before getting into Anupamaa, Rupali Ganguly was recognized as Monisha from Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai. Just like all the characters of the show, even the character of Monisha was an iconic one. However, Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai season 1 went off-air on 16th April, 2006. Sure, there was a second season of the show too but the show failed to charm the audiences like before. It started on 15th May and went off-air on 17th July 2017 with just 10 episodes.

The show Anupamaa has not just given a second chance but also a chance that was so dearly needed for the actress to show her real potential as a lead. Sudhanshu Pandey is a well-known model and actor, who shifted to acting from fashion modelling with the film Khiladi 420. As a singer, he was also part of the pop group ‘Band of Boys’. Sudhanshu left his boy band to focus on his acting career and he was also seen in movies like Rajdhani Express, Singh is King and Murder 2. Other than that, he was also a part of the Jackie Chan starrer The Myth. The Star Plus show Anupamaa is Sudhanshu Pandey’s debut show, from which the actor gained recognition for his character of Vanraj Shah.

Vanraj is a character that has showed a variety of shades and has impressed the audience with the changes that the character has gone through over the time. The audience love watching Sudhanshu Pandey, be it on-screen or off-screen.

3.Gaurav Khanna

Gaurav has earlier appeared in shows like Kumkum, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. He initially started as a model and later got a break as an actor in ‘One night stand’ on Star One. He also co-hosted the show ‘Aja Nachle’ season 3 with Saroj Khan.

Even though it’s been a long time since people have seen her on screen, the audience still loves her, no matter which character she plays as she plays it very effortlessly.

In the show Anupamaa, Jaswir Kaur played the role of Devika, which is one of the most unforgettable characters of the show. Anupamaa fame Alpana Buch is an Indian television actress who has been part of the acting industry for three decades now. She has been part of shows like Saraswatichandra, Baal Veer, Papad Pol. Apart from this, she has also worked in the Gujarati film industry.

She has gained immense popularity with her role as Leela Shah aka Baa on the top show Anupamaa.  The audience loved her work as Leela.

The character really brings a different life to the show. She’s not completely right or completely wrong and the way Alpana strikes a balance in a justified manner is a treat to watch.

8.Rohit Bakshi

In 2013, he made his Bollywood debut with thriller film Dehraadun Diary. Also, he played the role of Lord Shiva in Siya Ke Ram.

The actor was surely missed and now that he is back on screen as Ankush in the show Anupamaa, the show is really getting intriguing and gaining a lot more attention.
