Aparna Ghoshal and Geetanjali Singh in Channel V's Banarasi Bebe

Actress Aparna Ghoshal, who last played the role of Nilofer in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, has been roped in to play an important role in Beyond Dreams’ upcoming show for Channel V, Banarasi Bebe. Furthermore, actress Geetanjali Singh has also been signed on for the venture. First, let’s talk about Aparna. She will be seen playing the mother of Avanti, the lead girl to be portrayed by Sharmin Kazi. The lady will be a caring and affectionate mother, but more on the lines of being real with her emotions. Aparna has earlier been part of shows Ruk Jaana Nahin on Star Plus and Beta Hi Chahiye on Big Magic. Tellychakkar.com recently reported about Qubool Hai fame Vikram Singh Chauhan playing the male protagonist on the show. Noted actor Mitil Jain will also be part of it. When contacted, Aparna Ghoshal confirmed that she is part of Banarasi Bebe, but chose not to talk further. Now coming to Geetanjali, this model turned actor will be seen playing the role of Avanti’s sister Kavya. She will be sensible and a loving bubbly character.
