MUMBAI: Ashnoor Kaur is one of the most popular actresses of the small screen. The diva has been ruling the small screen since childhood. Ashnoor has been a part of several popular TV shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2, Jhansi Ki Rani, Mahabharat, among others.

Ashnoor who took a break from TV after her show Patiala Babes will be soon making her comeback with Zayn Imam in a new show produced by Prateek Sharma. She said, “Yes I took a break for two reasons. One, I wanted to enjoy my college life. Also, I wanted the audience to see me in a new light.”

She further revealed, The problem for child actors like me is that half the time it gets difficult to convince people that we have grown up. People still see us as kids.“

Ashnoor revealed wanting to live a normal life, saying, “More than focusing on my studies, I wanted to live my college life. I was working since the age of five and I didn’t get to experience a regular school life. That’s when I realised that this time won’t come back, work can happen even later. So, in the last couple of years, I enjoyed my life as a student, attending classes and participating in extracurricular activities. It helped me shape into a better person. I had a great time and also made some good friends.”

Ashnoor concluded saying, “My fame has not impacted my acting, it has impacted my journey in a positive way. When you see the love that your audience has for you, it’s a totally different feeling.”
