Battle Lines Drawn: Malaika & Geeta Root for Different Teams on India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan

India’s Best Dancer

MUMBAI : Sony Entertainment Television is all set to premiere its much-anticipated dance competition, India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan, on November 16th at 7:30 PM. Hosted by Harsh Limbachiyaa , the show will feature two rival teams: one led by India’s Best Dancer Team Owner Malaika Arora, who will champion the incredible talent from her show, and the other owned by Geeta Kapur, who will support the young prodigies of Super Dancer. At the helm of the judges' panel is the "Lord of Dance" himself, Remo D'Souza , bringing his expertise to the ultimate dance showdown. The format will showcase twelve exceptional dancers—six from India’s Best Dancer and six from Super Dancer—who will be divided into two competing teams, each guided by three renowned choreographers.

The competition is set to intensify as Remo D’Souza presents a unique challenge to the two rival teams: In-Motion. In this round, contestants will have to perform on a moving floor, showcasing their skills and creativity by adapting their dance moves to the shifting surface.

Tejas performs on the iconic title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, showcasing his incredible dancing skills. Harsh reveals that Tejas not only performed but also choreographed the song, working closely with the one and only Kartik Aaryan. Geeta, in a moment of affection, says, “Tejas, you've become such a big name, choreographer bhi ban gaye ho, but are you so big now that you can't give me a hug?" She then hugs him. Malaika, clearly amazed, adds, "First of all, I'm a bit shocked that this little one choreographed the song. The work you’ve done for this track is incredible! To have this opportunity after winning, it’s such a big moment. And I am sure you’re going to go far in life. Finally, I feel like the IBD team has some serious competition!"

Next up for the battle were Team IBD’s Debparna and Pratik, who performed to the song Satranga. Questioning whether they delivered on the challenge, Geeta said, “The presentation was really beautiful, but the challenge here was dancing with a moving prop. You had to dance while the ground beneath you was shifting. There were good stunts, but when you danced, the wheel was standing. From my perspective, the real challenge was that you should have made the floor move beneath you while you danced on it and the challenge was a bit of a fail. That’s my opinion.” Quick to support her team, Malaika chimed in, “Yes, I understand, and I completely respect your opinion. I also had my thoughts on previous performances, where I felt the challenge wasn’t fully respected. I have my own views.”

The competition between the two teams has been intense, and one thing is clear: IBD vs. SD: Champions Ka Tashan is shaping up to be an epic showdown, packed with creativity, surprises, and non-stop entertainment. Don’t miss out—tune in on November 16th at 7:30 PM, only on Sony Entertainment Television!
