Bharti 'Kiya' Kumar joins Suyyash Rai in Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Bharti Kumar and Suyyash Rai
Tellychakkar.com has already reported about Suyyash Rai bagging three episodic shows in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and MTV Webbed. We now give our ardent readers more information on the story to be aired in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, the popular series on Disney Bindass, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions. Giving company to Suyyash as the female lead in the story will be talented actress Bharti Kumar. Bharti enticed one and all as Kiya of Channel V’s The Buddy Project. Recently, she was seen in an episodic of MTV Webbed. The tale will be about two contrastingly different individuals – while Ritu (Bharti Kumar) would be a shrewd Maharashtrian girl living in a chawl, chasing dreams of becoming a noted journalist, Shaan (Suyyash) will be a street-smart guy from Delhi living in Mumbai to earn a living to support his sister and mother. Ritu, who will be in search of an earth-shattering story that would make headlines and help her get a much-needed promotion, will bump into Shaan. For Ritu, Shaan will be one such story who could give her great success in her professional life. However, the twist in the tale will happen when she would fall in love with the man himself. Will Ritu be able to make grounds in her professional career? Or will love hold her back? When contacted, Suyyash who donned a Haryanvi character in his last show Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai told Tellychakkar.com, “Well, this is the first time ever that I play a good boy on screen. So this was a big challenge for me (smiles). However, I had my problems on the first day of shoot when I was asked to talk in a tapori language which was half of Haryanvi and half of Hindi. I could not crack it on the first day, but got it right later (laughs). This is a very fascinating story, and I got to romance a girl amidst some intense songs being played in the background. It was great working with BBC. After Balaji, this is the production house where I enjoyed to the fullest while working.” Bharti shared her thoughts on the episode saying, “This is a very interesting character; she is a girl who aspires to become a top journalist and how she goes about living her dream is the crux of the story. It was nice working with Palki m’am and the director Nissar Parvez. Suyyash was a good co-actor to work with.” Catch this gripping love tale in Yeh Hai Aashiqui this weekend (13 July).
