Bidaai's still doing wonders overseas

Bidaai
Director Kut's (Rajan Shahi's) hit show Bidaai ran for three years (2007-2010) on Star Plus. Till date it is considered to be one of the best shows in the history of Indian television. It still holds a place in the hearts of television lovers, thanks to its superb script and some striking performances. Due to the show, its actors, Kinshuk Mahajan, Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Angad Hasija became stars overnight. Though the soap has bid adieu to its fans, but they keep asking, rather demanding, for its sequel. It seems they simply can't get enough of it. And a sequel would certainly rake in the numbers. Why do we say so? Because, though wrapped up in India, the show is currently being dubbed and aired overseas in countries like Afghanistan, Romania, USA and Germany. In Romania, Bidaai goes by the title Culoarea Fericirii. This only accentuates the fact that the show is still super popular. And who's better than Kinshuk to talk more about it. Due to Bidaai's super popularity in Afghanistan, he was invited as the guest of honour in Araina Music Awards held in the mountain clad country. "It's a great feeling when your work is appreciated. I had never ever imagined that Bidaai… will be so popular even in overseas. The response that I got in Afghanistan was unforgettable. Young girls, kids were yearning for my autograph. It was truly a great feeling. I think the show has given me a fan base that I will cherish all my life," shares an elated Kinshuk. Furthermore, Angad, who is currently seen in Zee TV's Ram Milayi Jodi, sounded equally excited when we informed him about Bidaai's overseas popularity, "It's really overwhelming. I owe everything to the show and I would really like to thank fans of Bidaai who have made it a great success." We bet the news will definitely bring a smile to the lips of each and every fan of Bidaai!!!
