Big B's real and reel daughter connection

Aahana Kumra, the Delhi girl known for her sharp looks and svelte figure, auditioned for a role in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. However, Anurag cast her for Sony Entertainment Television’s Yudh (Endemol and Saraswati Pictures). Playing Taruni, Yudhisthir Sikarwar’s (Amitabh Bachchan) daughter Aahana will be an oncologist, who will be passionate and have a no-nonsense outlook towards life. Speaking on working with BIG B, Aahana says, “He is the most humble person I have ever met. I still remember our first interaction when he asked me on the first day of shoot, “What do you know about Taruni?” I explained to him whatever I understood of her. Then he explained his perspective beautifully, which gave a different dimension to my character. He took care of me like his own daughter on the sets.” Though a little birdie from the sets reveal that Aahana has often been compared to Shweta (Bachchan’s real daughter) for her striking similarities. Aahana, on the other hand, just blushes away to these compliments. We couldn’t help notice it too! No wonder Mr. Bachchan treats her like his own daughter on the sets as well!
