MUMBAI: The new season of Bigg Boss has begun and the contestants are slowly opening up and becoming comfortable with each other.

However, this season is a little different. The twist in the tale is that along with the new contestants three former contestants are also present in the house who are here to command and guide the freshers. Hina Khan (Season 11), Gauhar Khan (Season 7), and the most famous contestant of Bigg Boss and the winner of Season 13 Sidharth Shukla are present in BB 14 house and they are called the toofani seniors.

Even though there are new contestants on the show, Sidharth seems to be ruling this season as well.  If you remember during the eviction of Sara Gurpal it was the seniors who decided who was going to leave the show.

Hina and Gauhar had voted for Rahul Vaidya but Sidharth voted for Sara and made sure that she got evicted, showing his power and dominance on the show.

Many ex-contestants have opined that it’s a Sidharth Shukla show as he is only seen and garnering the limelight. Fans feel that calling the seniors in the house is unfair.

Nirav Rajiv (Mumbai): The contestants of the show are not visible as Sidharth’s personality is overshadowing theirs’ and it’s high time the show belonged to only the present contestants.

Karan Kapoor (Delhi): The show does not have the power like last year, and the new concept of the seniors is making the show a big bore. The original concept should be brought in now.

Shruti Seth (Kolkata):  Sidharth Shukla is one of the strongest and most popular contestants of Bigg Boss, and last year his craze was huge and that’s impacting the present season. More than Bigg Boss house it feels like Sidharth Shukla's house.

Nikita Rajiv (Rajasthan): The show is too weak this year. The contestants are not coming out of their closet. Due to the presence of the seniors, the contestants are not seen on the show, and somewhere it's unfair to the present contestants as they aren’t able to play their own game.

Rohan Merchant (GOA):  I feel the contestants are slowly going to open up and this season might also do well but seriously it feels like it’s a Sidharth Shukla show. It’s high time the makers changed the strategy of the show and gave the limelight to the new contestants.

Radhika Narayan (Hyderabad): Who are the seniors to take the decision of evicting the contestants? Viewers who are investing their time in watching the show should be given this right. Sidharth didn’t play fair while evicting Sara, especially when Rahul and Jaan were present. It feels like Sidharth thinks he is ruling this house.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans are not liking the concept of the seniors as Sidharth is stealing the limelight from the new contestants. It seems they want to see the freshers play solo.
