MUMBAI: Ankit Gupta recently won the audience’s heart with his stint in the Bigg Boss house. He was finally eliminated by the votes of the housemates.

And so, his journey finally came to an end. Although he was a silent prayer of the show, the audience loved his game. Many celebrities had said that he would be the winner of the show.

Fans loved to see Priyanka and him together in the show, and their pair was loved in the game. Everyone said that their love and bond was genuine.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Ankit and asked him about his friendship with Archana, and whether the Priyanka-Ankit pair is anything more than a friendship.

Do you think that the mandali is having the support of Bigg Boss?

Yes, definitely! If one notices, they get all the power during nominations, and Priyanka and I are always targeted. Now you saw how Archana and Soundarya have also joined their group. So yes, they do have advantages in the game.

You had a good bond with Archana, but then that suddenly changed and things went bad. What do you think went wrong?

I never had a good bond with Archana. She was never my close friend because I knew that she would always betray you for the game. So I never built a bond with her, although she is close to Priyanka.

People say that Priyanka is dominating you and hence you weren’t seen in the game?

No, she was not at all dominating. She is very caring, and sometimes what happens is when someone is extra caring, the audience tends to misunderstand that and think that it's dominating. But for me, it was always caring and support, which is why I reached this far in the show.

What do you have to say about the Priyanka-Ankit pair, as the audience feels that there is something between y’all more than friendship?

To be honest, the friendship will always be there, and letting people talk doesn’t matter to me as Priyanka. I know what we feel for each other and what kind of bond we share. I had made things clear in the house itself.

Well, there is no doubt that although Ankit was a silent player, the audience really liked the way he used to play the game.
