MUMBAI : Mannara Chopra has firmly declined to comment on Munawar Faruqui's second marriage to Mehzabeen Coatwala. When the Bigg Boss 17 star was questioned on Friday night about her feelings over Munawar's wedding, Mumbai paparazzi took pictures of her. One of the paparazzi stated, "Munawar ki shaadi hui hai." Mannara made weird faces and remained silent. She also gestured with her hands that she would prefer to keep quiet about it.
Netizens responded to the footage shortly after it was uploaded online, advising the paparazzi not to question Mannara about Munawar's wedding if she felt uncomfortable about it.
“Mannara is not my fav, but why you guys are bothering her with such irrelevant questions?” one of the users wrote. “Kyu uske tang kar rhe ho?” added another. “Why do you keep asking her useless questions all the time?!! Show some respect,” a third comment read.
Munawar Faruqui and Mannara Chopra participated together in Bigg Boss 17 and faced several ups and downs during the show. The two were good friends initially but later developed certain differences following Ayesha Khan’s entry.
Just days ahead of the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale, Munawar was speaking to Ankita Lokhande when he made shocking claims and stated that on Diwali night, Mannara kissed him. He gestured to kiss with his hand on his cheeks, implying that Mannara kissed him. When Ankita argued that she did not see it, Munawar told her that he never told to anyone.
“I got uncomfortable because I have always maintained a line,” Munawar had said as quoted by the popular news portal.
Later, Mannara reacted to his kiss allegation and demanded a public apology. “Oh my god! It’s a weird statement. There’s no footage like this. I don’t know in what context he said that, but if he has, he needs to apologize to me publically,” she told the popular news outlet.
Munawar supposedly got married to Mehzabeen on May 26, 2024, in the meantime. Only their relatives were rumored to have attended the occasion. The duo was pictured together chopping a cake in the initial images of them that went viral on social media. Munawar was wearing brown pants and a white shirt. However, Mehzabeen was most lovely when she wore a purple sharara outfit. According to rumors, the photo was taken at their secret wedding.
