MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 has officially kicked off, and after a star-studded, entertaining premiere, viewers are all set for their annual dose of drama and excitement.

Among the contestants this season is Pranit More, a Radio Jockey and stand-up comedian by profession. Recently, he found himself in the middle of a controversy when some of his jokes about Bollywood actor Veer Pahariya sparked outrage.

After one of his shows in Solapur, a group of men assaulted More for making light-hearted remarks about the Sky Force actor. Following the incident, the comedian not only filed a police complaint but also spoke openly about the attack, sharing his side of the story with the public.

As Pranit More’s controversy grabbed headlines, Bollywood actor Veer Pahariya also reacted to the matter. Veer took to his social media and posted a story condemning the violence against the comedian, which instantly drew attention from fans and media alike.

Ahead of entering the Bigg Boss 19 house, TellyChakkar exclusively caught up with Pranit for a quick chat. When asked if Veer had reached out to him personally after the incident, Pranit candidly shared, “Well, Veer did post a story for me, but he did not get in touch with me personally.”

Interestingly, in Bigg Boss 18, Veer Pahariya had appeared in the grand finale, where his camaraderie with host Salman Khan became a talking point. Their friendly bond sparked speculation about whether Veer might have recommended Pranit’s name for the current season. Addressing the buzz, Pranit clarified, “Frankly, I didn’t know Veer and Salman Khan shared such a close bond. I only learned about it recently. I’m not from Bollywood, so I’m not aware of these circles. Honestly, I’m hardly aware of my own community.”

With his straightforward nature, wit, and sense of humor, Pranit More is already shaping up to be one of the most entertaining and intriguing contestants of Bigg Boss 19.
