A biopic on Prashant Tamang

Prashant Tamang’s win in Indian Idol 3 has not only been an inspiration for the youth of this country but also for the people of Nepal. This awe-inspiring tale of a police constable will now be made into a film by the Nepali film industry. Prashant himself has done the scripting and its needles to say he’ll act in this film. The film will be directed by Dinesh Raj Sharma. The script is written by Prashant himself. He will also sing in the film along with Udit Narayan. Shooting of the film will start in the month of February. Other actors to feature in this film are Rajesh Hamal, Ramit Dhungana and Jharana Thapa. All of them are well known Nepali actors. Most of the film will be shot in Sikkim and Darjeeling. Part of the film will also be shot in Nepal, where Prashant received a hero's welcome after winning the contest. Well, are we looking at the next superstar of Nepal?
