MUMBAI: Dashami Creations is one such popular production house which has given us many amazing shows like Mere Sai - Shraddha Aur Saburi, Dil Dhoondta Hai, Total Nadaniyaan, among others. They have also produced many regional shows over the years.
The popular production house is coming up with a new show named Ahilya on Sony TV.
Kuldeep Anand is the casting head director who is working with Dashami Creations for a long time now.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Kuldeep who opened up about his journey and much more.
Kuldeep revealed that he was a total outsider when he entered showbiz. However, things fell in place with time.
He has done casting for many well-known celebrities.
Speaking about his journey as a casting director, Kuldeep said, "My journey has been full of ups and downs, and it took 10 years to reach this position."
Kuldeep said that he is extremely passionate about his job and keeps on searching for the right face till the end. He said he never gets tired of his work even if he works round the clock.
Further talking about his work experience, Kuldeep said, "It is not necessary that the casting director should have the knowledge of each and everything. What's more important is how open-minded that person is and how much he/she can relate to new things, research, and much more. These things will help them grow."
Lastly, giving a message to all the aspiring casting directors, Kuldeep said, "Never think that whatever options you have provided to the makers are the best. There is no end in the casting. If you keep searching you will get endless options and that's the challenge."
