Celebrate World Music Day with Vh1 Contemporary Legends

Time stands still for no list, and when we look around us today we see a whole galaxy of stars who belong in the Vh1 Legends list…but it’s too soon to put them there. These are the artists who we think will stand the test of time – the kind of acts whose names we wouldn't be surprised to see included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at some point down the road when they become eligible. With so many artists making their musical debuts, there are only few who leave an impression and they are the Vh1 Contemporary Legends. Celebrating the contribution of these legendary performers the show will see artists from Eminem, Beyonce, Linkin Park, Rihanna, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Green Day to Jack White, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, amongst others. So this World Music Day (21 June 2013) all day long, celebrate Vh1 Contemporary Legends.
