The pretty Chahat Khanna who currently plays Ashka on Star Plus' Kumkum has decided to bid adieu to the show and television too! Reason being her upcoming marriage! The actor who has shows like Kitty Party, Shaka Laka Boom Boom, Hello Dollie, Hero and Don to boast about, is looking forward to her D day. She is planning to have a Sindhi style wedding as her beau is a Sindhi (an educator by profession). "I met Bharat five years back and it was love at first sight for both of us. We exchanged numbers and thereafter we have been in touch and to think I was only seventeen years of age then. What I really like about him is that he is a fabulous person and for me he is the best looking guy on earth," chuckles Ms Mumbai 2004, Chahat, who will exchange wows on 16 December. The actor has been busy shopping for her wedding trousseau since June from various places like Mumbai, Delhi and even New Zealand! Ask the actor whether she'll miss being a part of the telly land? "I have done ad films, television and a couple of forgettable films (Sade Saath Phere and The Film). But I plan to quit all this and join my husbands family business. I am very happy to tie the knot really soon. But I would definitely miss being on the sets," says the actor who quits acting on 23 November. So here's one actor who prefers family over work!
