It was earlier reported that the show was under the scanner for its dismal TRP ratings and later it got confirmed that <em>Chhajje</em>… was going off air but the precise date was kept under wraps.

Endemol’s Chhajje Chhajje Kaa Pyaar which went on air on February 28 early this year is all set to bid adieu to its fans. It was earlier reported that the show was under the scanner for its dismal TRP ratings and later it got confirmed that Chhajje… was going off air but the precise date was kept under wraps.
A source tells us, “The TRP of the show has hit an all time low. They tried to give it a last shot by including the marriage track but it didn’t make any difference. Earlier there was a rumour that the show would go off air by the end of July or August. Now they have finally decided that Chhajje… will be aired for the last time on July 28.”
Shambhavi who plays Ginny the lead in the show remained unavailable for comment.
