MUMBAI: Children’s Day is a heartfelt celebration of the happiness, curiosity, and boundless possibilities that children bring into the world. It’s a reminder to support their dreams, safeguard their rights, and build an environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive. Marked on 14th November each year, the day honors the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed deeply in the importance of nurturing young minds.
TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Dil Dosti Dance and Spy Bahu actor Sehban Azim, and he fondly shared one of his most special memories from Children’s Day.
Recalling a special Children’s Day outing, Sehban exclusively told TellyChakkar, "I remember my Amma Abba took me to Nehru Planetarium specifically on a Children’s Day once, when I was too young to understand the intricacies of the stars, the sky, and the planets. It was an incredible experience. They had an audiovisual show inside a dome explaining the entire solar system, galaxies, and the stars. It changed my entire perception of looking up at the sky."
He added, "This was the time I was first introduced to a telescope, and I was so intrigued by the idea that one can look so far away with a combination of lenses made of glass. They had a 2D dome that showed informative videos about space. It felt like a 3D experience to me, as if I were a part of the universe. I would call it one of my best memories and an amazing experience—something I will never forget."
Sehban’s heartfelt memory beautifully captures the wonder and excitement that define childhood. As we celebrate Children’s Day, his story is a reminder of how small moments can leave a lifelong impact. Here’s to cherishing those memories and creating many more for the generations to come.
