A college show for Sony!

If all goes well Sony will see its new show from Raman Kumar and Vinita Nanda's stable by March end. The show is touted to have a young theme revolving around the life of college students. For now the producers are pinning on either of the two names for the show Jeene Ke Char Din or Tamana. The makers are also on the look out for six new fresh faces for which they are auditioning collegians from across various acting schools and dramatic houses. "The show will be a college based show with a young and hep feel to it. It will revolve around teenagers and the issues they have to face in today's times. We are searching for some fresh faces and will select the older cast once the casting for the fresh faces is done with. We are going to FTII, dramatic societies, production houses, acting schools and regular colleges. This is our third search for fresh talents after Tara and La Bela in the past and definately proud to boost of Vidya Balan,Shweta Keswani and Heeba Shah as our products," points out an important source from the production house who promises the show to be a complete entertainer on the channel. The half an hour daily will be a primetime show and the production house will begin shooting in February. Interestingly, this is the first time that the production house is doing a show for Sony (earlier they have done shows for Star Plus-Millie and Zee TV-Tara). Looks like Sony is all set to rope in new shows with fresh themes to add to its programming lineup.. Watch this space for more on the fresh star cast…
