Colors' Uttaran to go off air on 16 January

After a good long run of more than six years, Colors is all set to finally bid farewell to their popular show Uttaran (FilmFarm Productions). According to media reports the show is all set to pull its curtain down on 16 January, ending on a happy note. The article in a national daily stated a source informing that since the show's ratings had seen a drop in the last few months, the channel had been thinking of pulling the plug on the show for a long time. And finally they zeroed upon a date in January. Producer of the show Rupali Guha, too confirmed the development to them stating that the team will be wind up the shoot in the first week of January. The cast and the crew have also been informed of the same. Uttaran reached great popularity with child actors Sparsh Khanchandani and Ishita Panchal.
