The young wrestler and popular television personality Sangram Singh is definitely one man, who has made India proud.
After his excellent performance in the sports field and his appearance on Bigg Boss 7, Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hain, Shapath and many others, Sangram has added another feather to his cap.
Yes, the young man has been honoured with the first Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Award, an initiative taken by the nephew of the former President of India and an acclaimed NGO.
When we buzzed him to congratulate, the young man said, “It is indeed a pleasure for me to get awarded like this, especially because Abdul Kalam ji is my idol. It is an honour for me to receive the award from the sports field when other legendary figures were nominated in their respective fields."
“Moreover, the selection process for this particular award is based on public voting. Naturally, I feel even more blessed for the same. In the coming days, I am fighting in another tournament in Mohali to gather funds for cancer patients”, added Sangram.
