In conversation with Shresth Kumar

Actor Shresth Kumar is known for having played NRI roles in different shows across GECs, but this time he plays a simple and very positive man named Yug in Like OK’s Ek Boond Ishq (BBC Worldwide) and the actor is indeed very happy to have bagged it. “I am extremely happy as I have never played such a character before. Yug has a bit of an issue with his feet hence, he walks like Sanjay Dutt in Saajan. Plus he isn’t a filthy rich man which most of my characters have been. He is a middle class guy who is very positive in life and is now Nandani’s (Hunar Hali) neighbour,” says Shresth talking about his character in the show. When asked what sort of characters he would want to play in future, he went on to confess, “I want to play Arjun of Mahabharata. In fact, I have been watching Mahabharata on Star Plus and I was also offered the role of Arjun in Rakesh Paswan’s upcoming show that revolves around Draupadi. But I couldn’t take it up as my dates clashed with my upcoming movie Munna Bhai Sallu Bhai - Killers or Healers.” Furthermore he goes on to add, “I’d like to play comic characters in films as I know I’ll do extremely well in comedy.” We just hope your wish comes true, Shresth!!!
