Darsheel Safary came into the limelight with the award winning flick Taare Zameen Par. Now, this young lad is facing the challenge of proving his mettle on the dance floor in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa for he has to balance his time well and put in decent number of hours into his studies as he is soon to take his SSC exams.
However, for Darsheel, dance is a stress buster that keeps him relaxed after his studies. When we asked him the question of accepting Jhalak at a time when he is busy preparing for his SSC exams, he immediately said, “Why can’t I participate in Jhalak? Is it just because I am in SSC? I see it the other way around. I think dance is a stress buster and I love dancing. I think I would not get a better platform than Jhalak.”
So how does he manage both his studies and dance? “Well, I go to school in the morning after which I study for a while, and in the evening I rehearse for Jhalak… By God’s grace I have got a great mentor Jay Kumar Nair and a lovely partner Avneet who are always there for me. I take up my studies and my dance as a challenge.”
“And one more thing I would like to add is that I am able to manage both my studies and dance just because I am Darsheel Safary,” he beamed.
Way to go boy!! It’s now the right time to prove your mettle…
