Deepak Wadhwa

Star Plus’ much appreciated sports based drama Tamanna (Ramesh Deo Productions) has been garnering positive response from all quarters.

The leads Anuja Sathe as Dhara and Vishal Gandhi as Mihir have impressed all with their world class performance.

And now making an entry as the new male lead in the series is good looking and charming Deepak Wadhwa.

The actor known for his roles in Qubool Hai will play a staunch religiously inclined political leader, Sanjay Singh.

Shared a source, “With Dhara moving to Meerut to start life afresh with her daughter, she will join a school as a cricket coach. There she will meet a young boy who would be crippled by polio. She will start training him and that is how she will come across Sanjay, who would be the boy’s uncle.”

The area will face a lot of communal riots. And viewers will get to see a different face of Sanjay during the riots.

Also sources share that a love angle might also build up between Dhara and Sanjay in the coming days.

Deepak has started shoots from today and his entry will air sometime soon.

When we called the actor he confirmed his entry and said, “Tamanna is a fabulous show with a great team and I am really excited about the same. Though I cannot divulge more about my character and storyline, I must add that viewers should stay hooked for there is a lot to come.”
