MUMBAI: TMKOC is a show which has gained a lot of popularity over several years. The characters from TMKOC are very famous and one of the most loved one is Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben. Disha Vakani left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah back in 2017 for a maternity break.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is enjoying a successful run even after 13 years. The serial has its best character namely Dilip Joshi, Raj Anadkat, Munmun Dutta amongst others, TMKOC is all about comedy and togetherness. And we talk about the team; one cannot miss out on Disha Vakani. She might be missing from the screens, but reminiscing some of the unknown facts that we know about her.

Sadly Disha left Taarak Mehta back in the year 2017 for a maternity break. Fans kept waiting for days and months but the actress did not return. The crowd is still in hopes to see her in TMKOC. There have been multiple negotiations with the makers but nothing really worked out. 

There was big news in recent times that the actress is entering Bigg Boss 15, but there’s been no confirmation to that as well.

Disha Vakani may be away from the Television screens for a while now, but it seems she doesn’t need that money! Her fan following still loves her to the core. The actress reportedly owns a massive apartment in Mumbai, and a lavish one in Ahmedabad as well. 

As per rumours, Disha Vakani owns a 3BHK flat in Mumbai. The spacious place is worth a whopping 1 crore. 

Meanwhile, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Kumarr Modi is time and again flooded with questions about Disha’s return.

Asit Kumarr Modi recently spoke about, “I feel I should become Dayaben now! The question of her return has been going on for many years now. We are still waiting for her to come back and if she expresses her desire to quit, the show will go on with a new Daya.”

As per the media reports Disha Vakani has permanently quit the show last time itself, when the negotiations didn’t work out.
