MUMBAI: Bollywood remarriages are no more a new concept to us. Many celebs whose first marriage did not work well, did not hesitate to settle again in marriage once the right partner was found. The situation is pretty similar in all the entertainment industries throughout the country.

Bollywood actress Sweta Keswani, who featured in Star Plus' Baa Bahu Aur Baby and other commercials, had married American actor Alexx O'Neill in 2008. However, the pair divorced in 2011. 

In October 2012, she married Ken Andino, whom she met in New York City. In August 2013, the duo was blessed with a daughter.  

Star Plus' Ek Veer Ki Ardaas -  Veera fame Sneha Wagh made her acting debut at the age of 17, following which she got married to Avishkar Darvekar at the age of 19. 

Later, after this duo parted ways, Sneha got remarried to Anurag Solanki.

Actress Chahatt Khanna, who runs her own mocktail-making show in Zee TV's Khaana Khazana, was first married to Bharat Narsinghani in December 2006, but got divorced after several months, alleging Naringhani physically abused her. Their courtship had started in 2002 when she was 16. 

Her second husband is Farhan Mirza whom she married in February 2013. Later, she had also married Farhan Mirza, the elder son of Shahrukh Mirza (Writer Mirza brothers) on 8th February 2013. The couple has two daughters. Unfortunately, the couple had to split ways after she filed for divorce in 2018, citing sexual and mental harassment.

Telly actress Shweta Tiwari makes it to the headlines every then and now, owing mainly to her failed marriages with her last ex-husband Abhinav Kohli. Tiwari married actor Raja Chaudhary in 1998 and conceived their daughter - Palak. She filed for a divorce in 2007 after nine years of marriage. Tiwari reported she suffered a troubled relationship characterised by Raja's alcoholism and Domestic violence.

Tiwari and actor Abhinav Kohli were married on 13 July 2013 after dating for almost three years. On 27th November 2016, Tiwari gave birth to their son Riyansh Kohli.

The prominent telly actress Tanaaz Irani was very young when she married Farid Currim. She was 20 when she gave birth to her first daughter Zianne.

After divorcing Farid, she started acting in serials. In 2006, she met actor Bakhtiyaar Irani (brother of telly actress Delnaaz Irani), on the set of Fame Gurukul. The duo fell in love and wanted to get married, but it was not permitted by Bakhtiyaar's family because Tannaz is seven years older than Bakhtiyaar. However, Delnaaz and his elder brother, Paurus Irani, helped to convince their parents, and the couple got married in 2007. On 20 March 2008, the couple's first child, a boy, was born. They named him Zeus after the Greek God. On 19 September 2011, Tannaz gave birth to a second girl, Zara Irani. 

Daughter Zianne, her first child, stays with her ex-husband Farid Currim. 


Soumoshree Ganguli aka Dimpi Ganguli rose to fame in the showbiz industry overnight post-marrying Rahul Mahajan (son of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan) in 2010, on Imagine TV's 'swayamvar' reality show, Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Ganguli filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic violence and physical abuse. The couple finally divorced in February 2015.

In November 2015, Ganguli married Dubai-based businessman, Rohit Roy. The duo was blessed with a daughter named Reanna, who was born on 20 June 2016.
 

Post divorcing commercial photographer Madhu Shroff, telly actor Gautami Kapoor bonded well with her on-screen co-star of the show Ghar Ek Mandir - Ram Kapoor. They met on the sets of the TV show and dated for a while before tying the knot on Valentines Day in 2003. They are now blessed with two children, daughter Sia and son Aks.

Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakkar, who was last seen on TV in Star Plus' Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, found the love of her life in the same industry she works in, post her first failed marriage with Raunak Samson. This duo had tied the knot in 2011 and later, parted ways in 2015. 

Post-meeting her co-star from Sasural Simar Ka - telly actor Shohaib Ibrahim on 22nd February 2018 in Bhopal, the duo initially clicked as friends and later, soulmates. Post-marriage, she converted to Islam and changed her name to Faiza. Their latest social media posts are the living testament to their 'happy married life'.
