MUMBAI: It was a breath of fresh air to watch Baarish on ALTBalaji.
The pairing of Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi was a refreshing change to the eyes and we could not expect for a better chemistry. While the promos shouted romance, the series was a visual delight to see Sharman, playing the role of Anuj, intelligent and introvert, who was more dominated by his younger brother and Asha as Gauravi, a middle class girl with high moral values. The way the story onfolds and their journey of falling in love after their families arrange their marriae was something unconventional.
The response of the webseries was overwhelming and now, the second season of the project has gone on floors. And to take the level of drama and entertainment a notch higher, looks like the producer Ekta Kapoor has zeroed on her father, Jeetendra to play a crucial part in the project. Yester year superstar Jeetendra is willing to be a part of the show.
But but but! There’s an obstacle in the process. Can you guess what is it?
Well, Ekta took to Instagram and posted a video of her asking Jeetendra to be a part of Baarish 2. While the actor gives his nod, her mother, Shobha Kapoor, who also looks after Jeetendra's profile of work wants to know about the monetary benefits before he is signed on. The video looks like to be shot in good humour and fun.
