MUMBAI : Arvind Babbal produced, Zee TV's show Mithai was one of the most loved shows among the audience. It was a remake of a Bengali serial of the same title. The show stars Debattama Saha (Mithai) and Aashish Bhardwaj (Sid) as the lead cast.

The story revolves around Mithai and Sid’s romantic life while also around how Mithai runs a business of herself and also helps Sid’s family in running their family business.

Talking about Sid aka Aashish Bharadwaj, he is one of the most popular actors in the television industry.

Aashish did amazingly well as Siddharth Choubey in Zee TV's Mithai and ruled everyone's heart.

His sweet-bitter relationship with Debattama Saha aka Mithai was loved by the audience.

Other than television shows, he has also worked with a lot of well-known brands.

The actor debuted with the Star Plus show Kasauti Zindigi Kay 2 where he played the character of Mohnish.

Aashish comes from Uttar Pradesh and recently he visited his hometown, Khatauli where he was welcomed with extreme warmth and humongous celebration.

There was a road show where all the big personalities of the city were present. The gathering was of more than 1000 people.
