MUMBAI: Anup Upadhyay has been seen in a lot of television shows and one of the shows by the actor is also Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai!
Currently, he is shooting for Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai and in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, he got candid about his role in the show.
Anup shared, “It was a really great journey with Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai! I enjoyed it very much and the team is very nice. Aasif Sheikh is my good old friend and also my senior, he is very supportive. My equation is really good with all the members of the cast, everybody is very cooperative on the set. I am currently shooting for Jijaji Chhat Par Koi Hai and I was a part of season 1 as well in which I played the role of father of Ilaichi who was in the show. In this season as well she is playing the role of my daughter.”
Shedding light on his bond with co-actors, Anup shared, “I have shared screen space with my co-actors in the likes of Soma Rathod and Sucheta Khanna in many other shows in the past, so we actually know each other very well, we have a nice equation with each other. With regards to Hiba, she is very nice and cooperative. There is so much of comfort level between us and I feel like her real-life father. She is a sweet kid!”
As a parting message, Anup expressed, “Edit II Production is a very good production house. I am working with them for 15 years. I used to work for F.I.R. with them and the director Shashank Bali and writer Manoj Santoshi, who is currently writing Bhabhiji Chhat Par Hai. Manoj is an old friend of mine and there is a comfort zone between Shashank Bali and me. Overall it’s like a family. The producers also look after us and the co-actors give feels of a family.”
