MUMBAI: Nishant Bhat has been in the industry for 15 years participating, choreographing, and being behind the scenes of multiple reality shows, Nishant debuted as the star on Bigg Boss OTT, and because of his constant entertainment, complete dedication in tasks, his ability to change the game with one wish decision has made him the ‘Entertainment Ka package’ in Bigg Boss 15.
He was one of the few contestants whose game was clear and entertaining from day one and was constant. In the last week of Bigg Boss when the audience had to vote for the best performer, Nishant had sparkled on the charts. But that does not mean that his journey was easy. He also went through a lot of ups and downs on the show and fought through all the circumstances and became one shining finalist of the show.
During the finale, Nishant took the briefcase and walked out of the house with Rs. 10 Lakhs, which surprised his fans and his friends inside the house alike.
In an EXCLUSIVE conversation with TellyChakkar, Nishant Bhat spoke about his Journey from OTT to Bigg Boss 15, being an entertainer, his equations with others and the people he would not like to meet outside:
Nishant Bhat has been an entertainer from day 1 since he stepped foot in OTT and in Bigg Boss 15. How has this journey from OTT to Bigg Boss 15 been for you?
Honestly, it felt a bit too long, I feel like even Bigg Boss was exhausted. It was a journey for sure, but I have definitely understood myself better. And I am very grateful that I have never been eliminated from the show. In OTT I was there till the end and was a Runner-up and even in Bigg Boss 15, I walked out on my own terms. But one thing I can say for sure is that I Have enjoyed myself thoroughly, I have done full ‘Bigg Bossgiri’.
Before Entering the house, in a conversation with us, you had said that you are ready with your full Entertainment package but you don't know if the other contestants will be able to handle it. Do you think they were able to?
I think Bigg Boss is all about relationships. It’s impractical to say that you don't want to form relationships or bonds. I was there to have fun and I did make relationships and friendships and I think everybody loved me. I am sure they felt I was mental but I also feel like that was one of the reasons they could think that I am Mad and fun to be with. I had separate equations with everyone so I think definitely everybody handled me differently.
From Bigg Boss 15, who would you like to meet and who would not want to meet at all?
I want to take a breather, I don’t want to meet anybody immediately, after the finale we hung out, we partied but I think for a little while, I need to adjust to life outside. It's been 6 months of just seeing these faces, especially Pratik but I know we are going to hang out, we keep texting each other and we are meeting for Shamita’s birthday, it’s going to be a reunion very soon but yes. And also we are adults. We know life outside is a little different but yeah Pratik and Shamita are very dear friends and I think one friend that I am going to chill with is Karan. Karan and I have been friends for a long time. Obviously, on the show, we had our problems but we have decided to work on that, So I will probably meet Karan.
On his Iconic dialogues ‘teen paanch’ and parting words for fans?
I still can’t believe people have loved my dialogues so much. I am not used to this kind of frenzy. The paparazzi, people recognizing me on the streets even with a mask on. I am so grateful that the audiences have loved me because that is something I have earned and I will be grateful to them. And to the fans, I want to thank them for supporting me and as long as they love me, I’ll keep entertaining them.
