MUMBAI : Jitendra Bohara is rocking his new avatar in Star Plus' show Imlie Season 2. The actor will play the role of Aakash in the show, Atharva's elder brother. Jitendra's character is quite meaty in the series and very different from what he played before.

Character insights...
I am playing Atharva's elder brother Akash who handles the family business. We belong to a very wealthy family. I am already shown married in the show. I play a grey shade. Me and my wife are shown quite selfish in the show. I am the one who is handling the business and also doing something wrong with it.
Thoughts before taking up this role...
Apart from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, I was searching for some meaty role which I deserve. I got some offers, but had to decline them as I didn't like them. There wasn't any scope for me as an actor. I do work for money, but the quality of the role is also important for me. I liked this role and also, and I have never worked with Four Lions, so it was a great opportunity for me. I felt blessed to be a part of Imlie season 2 as the first season was already a huge hit. I gave an audition, and things worked out for me.
Comeback in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin...
I got a call from the makers of Ghum, and they asked me if I will continue doing their show or not. I said yes, but there was only one condition that my dates should be available. It's almost 2 years since I am a part of this show. So, why should I leave? My character in Ghum is quite relatable to me, and I like playing Sunny in the show. My character in Ghum and Imlie 2 are quite opposite, and that's why I love playing these roles.
