MUMBAI : Anupamaa has been ruling the television screens ever since it went on-air. According to the latest plot, Dimple is supported by Anupama and starts working at the dance academy, and gets close to Samar. Samar and Dimple form a deeper friendship, and Samar finds Dimple cute and funny.

However, Leela is against this and doesn’t want Samar to get closer to Dimple as she is afraid about what society will think since being a rape victim is looked down upon by the masses.

Sagar Parekh is an Indian actor and model. He recently entered the Star Plus show Anupamaa as Samar Shah. He also appeared in TV shows such as Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Balika Vadhu 2, Rajaa Betaa, and Internet Wala Love. Sagar has been active in the entertainment industry since 2014.

TellyChakkar recently got in touch with the actor and got to know some interesting insights.

What more can the audience expect to see in the upcoming track?

“They can expect to see how Dimple’s journey goes, and how difficult it gets for her. You will get to see how she recovers from this trauma that has struck her. Samar is going to stand by her side; let’s see if he develops a soft corner for her. It is still early to say that.”

Anupamaa has been in the top most position ever since it began and has set a certain standard. Do you fear that after this, whatever you do might not work out on this level?

“No, I don’t think so. See, I believe in destiny a lot. When Anupamaa started, I was approached. I was again approached another time after that too but I did not have the dates so I couldn’t take up the offer. Post that, I was again approached and then it worked out somehow. I landed the show and I feel I was supposed to be a part of the show. After this also, I am sure I am going to be a better actor with better skills because the shoot is quite epic and working with such immensely talented actors is like school for me. I am learning so much there. After the show, I will be able to do better as an actor and the fame has already started coming. It is going to be easy; I am quite positive about that. I have a long way to go because of my age, and time is on my side.”

As Sagar, how much do you agree with Samar’s point of views and his mindset?

“Samar is a character who personally teaches me how I should be and how I shouldn’t be. In real life too, I am a “mumma’s boy”. So playing Samar is not a very difficult task for me. I have created a bond with Rupali Ganguly and we have gelled quite well together. So it’s quite easy for me to play that mother-son duo. When it comes to the father-son duo, it is quite different. In my personal life there is nothing as such that I have faced that Samar faces with Vanraj. This is something new and I learn a lot about the perspective Samar has towards the scenarios that go on in the house. It teaches a lot of things that I can implement in my personal life as well, and become a better human.
