Exclusive- Siddhant Karnick and Drashti Dhami ‘OUT’ of Zee TV’s Ek Tha Raja?

Now, this is called earth-shattering news! Yes, get your hand kerchiefs out, as you are sure to cry your heart out reading this biggie!! Zee TV’s periodic drama Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani produced by Sphereorigins and Nilanjana Purkayasstha is all set for a leap of eight years. That’s fine, but the shocker comes in the way of the new ‘unexpected’ developments that the channel and makers have worked upon!! Certainly unexpected, as the post leap story will spring up big surprises, and all this will begin with the apparent exit of the lead pair, Siddhant Karnick and Drashti Dhami. Yes, you read it right! As per credible sources, “The month of May will be crucial for the show, as it will progress towards a new beginning. There will be immense high-voltage drama in the climax phase of the pre-leap story, which will end with the characters of Ranaji and Gayathri’s exit. As per the story line, the couple will soon be shown consummating their marriage. And the eight years leap will start with the focus predominantly on their kids.” The casting process to get the new leads is presently on, but nothing has been locked yet. We buzzed Siddhant Karnick, but he remained unaware about the entire development while Drashti kept busy to comment. We tried buzzing the channel spokesperson, and also sent a text message to Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but did not get any revert. Well, guess the countdown to bidding adieu to one of the favourite on-screen Jodis has begun!! But given the trend where even overnight changes can take place in tracks in TV shows, we will surely keep an eye on the newer developments in the show!! So will you miss watching Siddhant and Drashti in the popular Zee drama? Drop in your comments.
