Unfortunately, the show is going off air. And it was also confirmed by many sources which has made the fans of the show very sad.

MUMBAI: Sasural Simar Ka 2 is s sequel to the original title of the same name that gained a lot of popularity for its twists and turns and this season started with Gitanjali Devi entrusting Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer.

The show that started on a grand note last year is working wonders.

Sasural Simar Ka is iconic for its storyline and the memes that it inspires, the characters of Simar and Mataji and now Badi Maa will go down in history as being strong matriarchs.

The show has a great ensemble cast, and this show brought forward  fresh pairings all of whom are very loved by the fans. But unfortunately, the show is going off air.

And it was also confirmed by many sources which has made the fans of the show very sad.

The lead cast includes Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar, Karan Sharma, and Tanya Sharma.

Karan Sharma who plays the role of Vivaan on the show is one of the most prominent actors in the industry and has had quite a journey in the business.

TellyChakkar reached out to the actor to get his reaction on the show going off air and while confirming the news and talking about this journey he said, “The Journey was superb, I thoroughly enjoyed my journey and I never thought I would be a part of this show, Sasural Simar Ka 2, and only a very few people know that i was supposed to be a part of the first season, I did a mock shoot with Dipika, and when she met me during the course of the second season, she remembered me as well. But when they reached out to me for the second season and narrated to me, my character was very quick to say yes. I feel like it was destiny that I had to be a part of this show, if not one then season two and I am really grateful. I am going to miss it a lot for sure”.

While reports suggest that 7th April is when the last episode will air, fans of the show are still keeping their hopes high.
