Faisal goes positive in Kumkum

Bad man of television Faisal Raza Khan is all set to play a positive character in Kumkum. This is the first ever time that the actor is playing a positive role in any show and thus has all the reasons to be upbeat about it. Talking about his character Faisal says, “My character is called Surjan Singh who is a hardcore jat. It is an out and out positive character and this is the first time I am playing a positive character. There will be situational comedy and funny scenes between Juhi Parmar and me. He will claim to marry Kumkum despite knowing the fact that she is already married. He is very gullible who blindly believes in Kumkum and is elated each time Kumkum praises him.” The character will run for atleast two months and his entry is expected to air on 1 September. Faisal reveals, “I will be seen with a big moustache like any hardcore jat. The funniest part is that everytime I speak the moustache falls off. I already sport a beard and can’t shave it on religious grounds so it was a task for the make-up guy as they have to put a fake moustache over the real one. Imagine mooch ke upar mooch lagana.” At a time when many actors are pining for negative roles Faisal sure is an exception.
