'Fearless' Deepika does a Kiran Bedi in Diya Aur Baati Hum

In upcoming episodes of Star Plus’ Diya Aur Bati Hum, Sandhya (Deepika Singh) will be seen in a inspired by Kiran Bedi’s real life incident. Deepika will be seen enacting a real life incident where in she will jump into a fire to save people. This newly married girl is very serious about her work and wants to do full justice to her character of IPS officer. They were shooting for a fire sequence and her body double was ready for the shot but Deepika insisted on performing all the stunts of dangerous fire sequence on her own. She didn't just say it but completed the whole sequence fearlessly making her body double waiting without any stunt for hours. But we are sure no one is complaining as everyone was super proud of Deepika. “I was very happy with the reactions that the audiences are giving me for my role. Also this is something that Kiran Bedi did on her own hence I was very much motivated to try it. If she could do it in real life I was in a better space as I had so much of technical support and the crew waiting for me. It feels very good!” commented a gushing newly married Deepika Well done!!!
