MUMBAI: Prem Sagar and Shiv Sagar, under their banner Sagar World Multimedia, have launched a new mythological series, Kaamdhenu Gaumata, which revolves around the life of the holy wish-fulfilling cow. The show premiered on Star Bharat on August 11. Actress Priyal Bhatt plays the role of Bhudevi in the series and shared that she is delighted to be working with the iconic Sagar family.
She said, "I was deeply honored to work with Prem Sagar sir and Shiv Sagar sir. Since childhood, I have heard so many tales about the Ramanand Sagar production house, so this truly felt like a dream come true."
"As we all know, the greatest television drama of all time is Ramayan. Working with these pioneers taught me the importance of presenting a story and character with a modern touch while keeping the authenticity intact," she added.
Talking about the show, Priyal mentioned that it has deepened her spiritual beliefs. She said, "Working on Kaamdhenu helped me explore my spiritual connection in many new ways." "Kaamdhenu Mata is not just a mythological figure but also an ideal of being the perfect protector, mother, student, and learner. We can connect with her and learn many emotional as well as logical lessons from her story," she added.
Kaamdhenu Gaumata boasts an ensemble cast, and Priyal shared that everyone was extremely supportive, cooperative, and full of energy. "We shared a strong bond and a mutual eagerness to learn from each other. The atmosphere on set was like a family, and even the crew members were genuinely warm and supportive," Priyal concluded.
