Ankit spoke exclusively to TellyChakkar to know more about his experience shooting for the show and his comeback on television.

He said, “Coming back to television after two years is like coming back home. In these years, even though I was not in front of the camera, I was behind the camera and was also doing a show. But of course, after coming back on television after two years with a popular show is overwhelming. In the time of my sabbatical, I produced a show and I will not be able to give out many details but it is based on Swami Tulsidas, Gora Kumbhar who is well known in Maharashtra and there are many movies also based on him. We have made an episodic show and it has come out very well.”

When asked about the kind of roles he likes playing, Ankit shared, “When I started my career with Ramayan, I played the role of Laxman and that was a personality where I felt like I am him. I got to learn a lot from my character and after that I played another character which made such a place in the audience’s hearts that it was difficult to break the image and was challenging as well. It was so good that I started getting offers for negative roles and I had to make a choice whether those roles will be as challenging or not. It was a different journey.”
