Unlike any other working day, it’s a day of merriment for Neelu Vaghela, Jyotsna Chandola and Varunn Jain as they are celebrating their birthdays today (15 April 2013). “I have been shooting on the sets of Diya Aur Baati Hum since 6 in the morning and am now heading for the rehearsals of Shriman Vs Shirimati. So, it’s a working birthday for me. But at the same time it’s special as I am celebrating this birthday with both my real and reel family,” says Neelu. She also goes on to reveal about the special gifts that she has received. “My kids made a cute collage of our pics together and also gifted me pillows with their names on it. On the other hand, my husband (Arvind Kumar) gifted me a cell phone and a greeting card made of my pictures. I really feel special.” Jyotsna, better known as Khushi of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, on the other hand is having a hush-hush birthday this time. “I love celebrating my birthdays but after the Delhi gang rape incident, I had decided not to celebrate this time. How can one celebrate his/her birthday if he/she isn’t safe?” However, her family did drag her out for a small celebration, “Yes, I had to cut a cake as my family insisted, but I did not really invite any of my friends.” On the gift front, the actress also got a lot of teddies as gifts, “Moreover, she has yet another pet as a gift. “I love pets. I already have a dog and a fish and now I have a parrot too.” Varunn (Diya Aur Baati Hum) too had a working birthday like his co-star Neelu, but he did cut a few cakes on the sets and had a celebration last night. “I did catch up with a few friends last night and now I am heading to town to have dinner with some of my friends.” Any special gift that he’s got? “Yes, my cousin has sent me a cell phone from Melbourne, but I haven’t received it as yet. It will reach me sometime next week,” Varunn quips. We wish these TV stars a very happy birthday!!!
