Happy Birthday to Romit Raj and Urvashi Dholakia

Two Cancerian TV stars Romit Raj (who stars as Varun in Sony TV’s Adaalat) and Urvashi Dholakia (who has played many prominent roles in successful soaps and emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 6) are celebrating their birthdays today (9 July 2013). Romit, his dear wife Tina and his darling daughter Rehaa went to Shirdi to seek blessings of Sai Baba on his birthday. Tina organised a delicious dinner at Mainland China. The actor narrated to us, “My wife knows that I am a teetotaler and good food makes me happy. The staff at the restaurant sung Happy Birthday for me. I was touched to discover that some of them had stored my picture in their mobile phones. Many of them have followed Adaalat and my former shows.” The actor has cut five yummy cakes till now. He cut two of them at Mainland China, one at his in-law’s house, his uncle had gifted him a cake and the fifth cake was baked by his mother. Apart from cakes, his wife gifted him a perfume and his brother gave him a Tata Sky Video Recorder. His ideal birthday vacation would be in Switzerland with his family. Romit isn’t the kind of person who expects certain kinds of gifts from his friends. He opines, “Gifts are always welcome. Nevertheless, I appreciate whatever is given with love. On my birthday I wish that God gives my family happiness and good health. This is a far better gift to ask Him than materialistic gifts.” The actor who turns 33 today says, “I hear from many sixty year olds that age is just a number. So growing older doesn’t matter to me.” Romit is happy that his near and dear ones called him to wish him. “My colleague Ronit Roy called me from Europe.” Delving into his childhood he has very fond memories of his mom inviting about 20 of his friends to his home to have a gala time on his birthday. He adds, “My mom had gifted me a beautiful Kashmiri study table on one birthday.” Furthermore, Urvashi is spending her birthday with her near and dear ones. “My loved ones ushered in this special day with a bang at midnight. My best gift on this day was that I was surrounded by those who mean a lot to me.” Regarding growing a year old she says, “Thirty five is only a number. It surely does not make me feel old.” The actress undertook a birthday vacation to Dubai and returned last night. She feels that her best birthday was her 29th one. She explains, “My birthdays generally continue for days. My 29th birthday was celebrated for a whole month which made it the longest birthday ever.” We wish both the actors a prolonged if not unending birthday celebration this year.
