Colors' Naagin has made a blockbuster opening with a stellar cast and a seat gripping story line.

The show has Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Jyoti and Karishma Tanna in the leads along with Pearl V Puri and Rajat Tokas. While shooting among the reel nags its quiet ironical when one gets to meet a real naag.

Karan Kundra shared a new trailer of his upcoming show Dil Hi Toh Hai. The trailer seems quiet promising and the love saga is bound to keep you hooked to your seats.

Dil Hi Toh Hai has quiet the starrer cast as Poonam Dhillon, Bijay Anand, Akshay Dogra, Farida Dadi, Abhinav Kapoor, Asmita Sood, Nyra Bannerjee, Pooja Banerjee, Krishna Shetty, Sudeepa Singh and others.

Lootere- Bandits of British India to come back with its Season 3

After the success of the first two seasons of Lootere – Bandits of British India, here comes the third installments of the series that features stories of the famous bandits of India who were branded hereditary dacoits by the British striving to attain mastery of a land and people they were still struggling to understand.

Sharing few insights about the show, Akul Tripathi (Content and Programming Head) EPIC TV shares, “Local communities and tribes such as the Waghers, Bheels, Sanyasis, and Banjaras resorted to looting and plundering in a time of great social and political upheaval. Often, for the acts of some, entire tribes were branded as hereditary dacoits and kept on the fringes of society – a wrong that was corrected only post-independence. Season 3 of Lootere tells the story of these tribes.”

Mona Singh and Akarsh Khurana in TVF’s family drama

Actress Mona Singh who is fresh from the super success of ALTBalaji’s Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai has been brought in to play the lead role.

Best known for her role in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin,Mona Singh will be seen joining the cast of TVF’s popular family drama along with Akarsh khurana in the central role.

Zee5 to launch its new web series

ZEE5, the newest digital content destination has promised to cater to the audiences all across India. The OTT provides viewers the multi-lingual experience with shows being created in not only Hindi, but other languages like Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Bengali.

With this promise made, the platform will soon launch its second Tamil web-series titled ‘Kallachirippu’ produced by famous South Director Karthik Subbaraj. Under his banner Stone Benchers, Karthik will be producing the web-series for ZEE5.

And playing the lead girl in the series will be well-known South actress Amrutha Srinivasan who has featured in the Tamil movies Meyaadha Maan, Aviyal and the Telugu film Mental Madhilo. Amrutha who is a admirable performer will have an author-backed lead role and the series will be thriller.

Change in time slot for Zee Tv’s Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre

Zee TV’s Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morre (Jay Productions) has been grabbing eyeballs with its thrilling storyline and good performances. The show which airs at 11.00 pm has got a new time slot.

The little birdie shares that after Bhootu’s wrap up, Jeet Gayi will run at 6.30 pm.

The late night slot of 11PM will now be occupied by Cinevistaas’ new show, tentatively titled Kasak. Even though Jeet Gayi will take over the Bhootu slot from 18 June, the late night slot will be filled up by the new show as and when it is ready for launch.

Jeet Gayi stars Yesha Rughani, Shoaib Ibrahim and Roopa Divatia in lead role.

Kunal Bakshi on receiving Best Actor award for Shani: I am speechless

For actor Kunal Bakshi, awards are a great way for the audience to show their appreciation for his work. The actor recently received an award in the Best Actor category for Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s ‘Karmaphaldata Shani’ at the 6th Bengal Youth Awards in Kolkata.

“I am speechless; I can't express my feelings right now. I am feeling so good and I want to thank the almighty and my parents for all their blessings and good wishes. I am so grateful to the audience for loving our show and me in it,” he says.

He adds, “Not just for an actor but for every artist awards means appreciation, respect and acceptability from the people. It makes working hard seem worth it. When we get awards, we get the feeling of self-belief. It's the love of audience and guiding force to keep us motivated.”

Ask him who he would like to dedicate this award to, and he says, “I would love to dedicate this award to Siddharth sir and Rahul (Kumar Tewary, co-producer) sir for showing so much of belief in me. I will always be thankful to Swastik productions for Shani because Shani is very close to my heart. I was with the show from the first to the last shot.”

Kunal adds that he loves working with both Siddharth and Rahul. “Working with Siddharth sir and Rahul sir is like working with family. I feel like I am in my house. We are also close-knit and comfortable with each other. I love my Swastik family very much,” he says.

With every birthday, I learn something new, says Aadesh Chaudhary

Actor Aadesh Chaudhary, who recently celebrated his birthday, says that his birthday has always been special for him. The actor adds that every birthday adds more experience to his life. “It’s a day where you feel special because it’s your day. Age is just a number for me. In fact, I feel with every year, I learn new things about life,” he says.

Aadesh shares that with this birthday, I have formed new goals for myself. “I have gifted a new goal for myself this birthday. I am trying for movies now and hopefully, this year will be lucky for me. I am on the lookout for interesting projects and will only take up a film if the role is meaty and integral to the story,” he says.

Varun Badola joins Shivin and Tunisha in Colors’ next

Seasoned actor Varun Badola who left his audience hooked to their TV screens for his commendable patriarch’s role in Star Plus’ Mere Angne Mein is coming back to the TV sets.

The show that is tentatively titled ‘E-Love’ will have Shivin Narang and Tunisha Sharma playing the leads in this show.

Varun will be seen playing the role of the female lead’s father. The show is set to come on Color’s.

Peninsula Pictures to make Vikram aur Betaal for &TV

Peninsula Pictures helmed by Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez seems to be on a roll!!

After giving the TV viewing audience a fabulous mythological tale of little Krishna in Paramavatar Shri Krishna for &TV, the production house worked hard to come up with the fantasy tale on Star Bharat, Mayavi Maling.

Now Peninsula Pictures will be coming up with a fantasy tale on Vikram and Betaal for &TV.

As we know, Vikram aur Betaal will have spellbinding and interesting stories told to the wise king of Ujjain, Vikramaditya by the ghost Betaal.

Work on this project is in its initial phase is what the little birdie shares.
