Heeba Nawab of Crazy Stupid Ishq to play the lead in Life OK's musical love story

Acclaimed Director Dharmesh Mehta is heralded for being the man who took charge of directing Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah from the day of its inception and made it a success story on SAB TV. The Director later went on to produce R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya along with Hats Off Productions for SAB TV. And now Dharmesh’s Namanraj Productions will be making a musical love story for Life OK. The yet untitled show will have the backdrop of Gujarat and will be launched early next year (2014). Reports coming in are that the female lead for this lavish musical love story has been finalized. Heeba Nawab, who entered the TV circuit as a child artist with shows like Saath Phere, Lo Hogayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki and then went on to play the lead role in Channel [V]’s Crazy Stupid Ishq, has been roped in to play the female protagonist in this new Life OK show. A reliable source tells us that the casting for this show is presently on. Heeba has been finalized to play the lead, while actors like Darshan Jariwala and Vandana Pathak will play pivotal roles. Our efforts to contact Heeba were futile. We also tried contacting Producer Dharmesh Mehta, but he did not answer our calls. We dropped a text message to Ajit Thakur, General Manager, Life OK but did not hear from him till we filed the story. Watch this space for more updates.
