MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with yet another exclusive update from the world of television. Staying true to our promise of delivering the latest buzz, inside scoops, and behind-the-scenes updates, we now bring you exciting news about Dangal TV’s upcoming drama.
The channel is all set to launch a new show titled Rimjhim, produced by the renowned banner Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd. As reported earlier, Hunar Hale has been roped in to play the antagonist, while Yashika Sharma and Himanshu Awasthi will be seen essaying the lead roles.
Now, we have learned of another exclusive casting update. According to sources, Heeramandi actor Lavish Chouhan and child artist Yudhan Saraswat have also joined the cast in pivotal roles.
Confirming the news, Lavish told TellyChakkar, “Yes, I am doing the show. The character’s name is Titto. However, I don’t have any further details about the show or the role I’ll be playing.” Lavish was last seen in Star Plus’ Maati Se Bandhi Dor. We couldn’t reach Yudhan for a comment.
Earlier, we also reported that Aastha Choudhary, Shreya Patel, Amar Sharma, Vaishnavi Macdonald, Ashu Sharma, and Kanchan Dubey will be part of the ensemble cast.
For the unversed, Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd. has delivered several hit shows in the past, including Barrister Babu, Mera Balam Thanedaar, Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, and Diya Aur Baati Hum, among others.
