Heital Puniwala: There is no character that I don’t want to play

MUMBAI: Actor Heital Puniwala, who will be seen in Naagin 4, says that he loves his role. The actor plays a grey character in the show. “I am a multitalented actor, so I want to play different types of characters. If you want me to do comedy, I can do that. I am playing the role of a villain in Naagin 4 and I really like that. I really like to do a positive character next as I also love to play those characters,” he says.

Heital says that he wants to try out different roles. “There is no such character that I do not want to play. I can do every type of character as I am a versatile actor. I don’t even have an issue doing similar characters. If the viewers want to see you in a particular role, I don't think I have a problem with that. But yes, from inside, there will always be an urge to do something different. It is really fun to do a different type of character. You can't eat the same breakfast every morning, you want something different. The same it is with the character that we play too,” he says.

The actor says that he makes sure to work hard for every character. “Whatever work I do, I give it my best. I give 110 percent in that work. I even meditate to keep a calm mind, so that I can store more and more dialogues in my mind and deliver the best. I can even learn a long dialogue without any trouble. I think good memory is one of my best strengths as well,” he says.

He adds that it’s tough to become an actor today. “To become an actor is a challenging job.  Everyone can't do it. It seems very easy when you see actors on the screen but it is way more different than that. To become an actor, you require hard work. The most challenging part for me is to act besides people who I idolize. If a big actor like Amitabh Bachchan is the front of you and you have to act side along with him, it is tough,” he says.
