MUMBAI: Once a blockbuster shows on Star Plus’ Sapna Babul Ka…. Bidaai has made a comeback on the Television. TellyChakkar.com connected with the producer of the show, Mr.Rajan Shahi and in a candid conversation with us, he shared interesting anecdotes about his shows which we would provide to our readers in several articles.

Shahi opted for having newbies as leads in Bidaai as he wanted the show and actors to be known as their onscreen identities.
Sharing an anecdote on the same from Bidaai days, Rajan Shahi said, “Once at an award function the entire Bidaai team was called, it was just after two months of the show hitting the Television screens. I asked Sara and Parul to reach the venue and I joined them outside the location. They were quite fancily dressed quite unlike their onscreen characters. I asked both of them to wear something subtle which would relate to their onscreen characters. They weren't very happy with my suggestions, however they did adhere to it. I asked them to change because I wanted the audience to connect with them with their characters Sadhna and Ragini. Later, the duo did understand my stance that it was necessary for people to relate and connect with the onscreen characters”.
