MUMBAI: In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Hiten Tejwani spoke about deciding to do a show like Meri Bhavya Life and showered praises on newbie Prisha Dhatwalia.

Talking about why he decided to be a part of Meri Bhavya Life, Hiten said, "You see, as artists, our primary goal is to entertain—but beyond that, we also have a responsibility to convey meaningful messages. And this project does just that. At its heart, the message is clear: never judge someone by their outward appearance. True worth lies in a person’s heart and character. Looks, status, and superficial traits are secondary. What truly matters is whether someone is a good human being. That’s what we should recognize and respect first."

He shared, "I believe this message is resonating with people—that’s why the response has been so positive. As for the role, yes, it’s different. I play the head of the family, someone who is grounded, practical, and sees the world through a more humane lens. He values people for who they are, not how they appear. And that’s the essence we’re trying to highlight."

Sharing his thoughts on working with newbie Prisha Dhatwalia, Tejwani said, "It’s been truly lovely working with her. As everyone knows, this is her very first show, and I must say, she’s done an incredible job. I travel quite a bit for work, and wherever I go, people talk about the show—they’re really connecting with Prisha and appreciating her performance. That says a lot about her talent."

He concluded, "Despite being new to the industry, she’s extremely hardworking and dedicated. In fact, many might know that she recently met with an accident and fractured her leg. But even after that, she didn’t stop—she continued shooting without a break, because that’s what the job demands. In daily soaps, the work doesn’t pause, and her commitment has truly stood out. She’s focused, resilient, and a delight to work with. For the first show, she’s been absolutely brilliant."
