Homi Wadia joins the cast of Life OK's musical love story tentatively titled Ellis Bridge

Life OK’s upcoming major fiction launch tentatively titled ‘Ellis Bridge’ will depict the conflict between two cultures which will be shown from the perspective of the old heritage bridge, Ellis Bridge situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The show will be produced by acclaimed Director Dharmesh Mehta under the banner Namanraj Productions. And as we had reported earlier, actress Heeba Nawab who was last seen in Channel [V]’s Crazy Stupid Ishq will play the female protagonist. As per reports, Ankit Modgill who played the role of Amreek in Colors’ Bani – Ishq Da Kalma has bagged the male lead’s role. We now have news that noted actor Homi Wadia, who is known for his roles in films like Aashiqui, Saathi, Jung, Dil Maange More and many more, has been finalized to play a pivotal role in the show. As per sources, he will essay father to the male lead, while Darshan Zariwala will play the girl’s father. Homi Wadia had recently played an important part in Life OK’s Savdhan India. We tried contacting Homi, but he remained unavailable. Coming back to the show, Ellis Bridge, a huge set has been erected for this musical show. Also, the unit will soon shoot six song and dance numbers with the leads Heeba and Ankit, as part of their presentation module, before going on floor. The songs have been composed and sung by singer Parthiv Gohil of Saawariya fame. Samir-Tanna of Ramleela fame will be the choreographers while the ace writer cum director Sanjay Chhel will be the lyricist. Our efforts to reach Producer Dharmesh Mehta proved futile.
