I have done my mother proud by bagging an award at the Tellys: Adaa Khan

Adaa Khan
Being nominated by a Jury for any award is always a big achievement and Adaa Khan, better known as Amrit, was one of those lucky few who was nominated in the Best Actress in a Negative Role category at The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards. Understandably, Adaa was on cloud nine after having received the award and she shared her happiness at the after party of Telly Awards where she danced in glory with her rumoured boyfriend actor Ankit Gera. However, this was not the end of celebration for Adaa, as her show’s producer Rajan Shahi too threw a surprise party on the sets of Amrit Manthan (Life OK). When we contacted Adaa, she said, “It is a very prestigious award for me as it was given to me by the jury. Apart from this, it is also special because my mother always wanted me to win an award. Today, she is no more but I am sure she is proud of me.” Adaa is also very thankful to Shahi and the rest of her team for the surprise party, as she avers, “Yes, it was a surprise party planned by Rajan sir. He invited some big names like Sharad Kelkar and Hina Khan for the celebration. I don’t think things could have got better than this. I am really glad to be associated with Rajan sir and the entire Amrit Manthan team.” Keep up the good work Adaa!!! Catch Twelfth Indian Telly Awards only on Colors at 9 pm on 25 May (2013).
